HYDERABAD METRO : A BOON TO HYDERABADI'S

                        Hyderabad is a fastly growing Metropolitan city with a population of nearly 8 million and it would reach 13 million in less than 7 years. In order to fulfill the needs of this population, transportation plays a major role in which 3 million vehicles have their moves on roads of Hyderabad. HMR(Hyderabad Metro Rail) is the creative board formed in order to act  as bridge between public enterprises and construction management. The duty of construction was given to the prestigious L&T company.

                       Actually Metro project was approved for 72 kms for 3 busy corridors.

L&T made Uppal as their base and main garrage station. It was estimated that the constructions takes a budget of 7200 crores. The construction company promised to complete the work by 4 years. The new Govt. of Telangana is also striving to complete this prestigious project as soon as possible to meet the traffic problems.

There are many advantages in using Metro trains. It is pollution and noise free. No problem of traffic and disturbance. Entertainment to children and speed reach of destination. Already first phase is to take huge run in less than 6 months, trail runs are in progress. Healthy transport leads to healthy city.
